PARKWAY

Drama is an important part of the ministry at Parkway Christian Church.  At least twice a year, during the Easter and Christmas seasons, an enthusiastic team of children, youth and adults collaborate on major works. Some of these productions are period pieces which involve elaborate costuming, music, live animals and more. Others have been more dialogue driven.
 

However, not all of Parkway’s dramas have been based on Biblical characters.  The 2016 Christmas play, entitled Hunting for Higgins, followed three astronauts and their families as they searched for faith one fateful Christmas Eve.

 

And finally, at Christmas, in addition to the church-wide production that is held, the children also perform a pageant or play of their own.
 

From Children’s pageants to full length dramas, dinner theaters to musical comedies, Parkway performs them all…and all are invited to participate.
