You know, the Bible tells us that people in the early church “...welcomed in those who believed...and devoted themselves to the apostle’s teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayers.” (Acts 2:40-42) It’s good to know that this mission has not changed. Here at Parkway we seek to know each other better in a loving atmosphere while proclaiming and living God’s word. Central to our worship is sharing the Lord’s Supper each Sunday. We believe that this central act helps us focus on the sacrifice made for us by Christ and our duty to serve others as well. Best of all, everyone is invited to the table.

We welcome all who seek God’s will for their lives as well as those who truly wish to participate in God-centered worship and activities. And we are a busy church too! We have several opportunities for children and youth as well as activities for adults. It is our prayer that everyone who gathers at this church, and in our schools, will experience the love of Christ and will then depart empowered to serve the Lord who loves us all.

Parkway strives for a balance between upbeat gospel and traditional in its music and worship styles. In addition to our praise team, we have an adult choir.

Complimentary nursery care is available from birth to 4 years, and children's programs ("Children's Church") are available for children age 5 to 2nd grade.

Parkway Christian Church, located at 1200 S. Flamingo Road (just south of I595) in Davie Florida, is identified with the communion of believers known as the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Our main belief is the essential union of all Christians on the basis of devotion to Christ with freedom to express this devotion in many differing ways.

We say,"In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, love".

Thus we have no creed but Christ and no doctrines except those found in the New Testament. There is but one essential article of faith which binds us together in fellowship and service, the belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and our Lord and Savior.

Directions to find us:

From the East or West: Take I-595 to southbound Flamingo Road, then...On southbound Flamingo Road, quickly move into the inside (fast) lane -- the left turn lane you'll want is only about a block south of I-595. Turn left onto 6th Street (an access road), then abruptly turn right to continue south on the access road for about 1/2 mile. (If you miss the left turn lane, you'll find another about a 1/2 mile further south that will take you to the same access road; make your left there onto it and follow it north to Parkway.)

From the South: From northbound Flamingo Road, you'll find a right turn lane about a 3/4 mile before the I-595/St Rd 84 intersection; turn right onto an access road, then turn left and follow it around to Parkway. (If you miss your first right turn lane, there's another at 6th Street about 1/2 mile further, before the I-595/St Rd 84 intersection; turn right and then abruptly turn right again (almost a U-turn!) to travel south on the access road for about 1/2 mile.)
